OVERVIEW
Belong To’s vision is for an Ireland where lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender, and intersex (LGBTQ+) young people are equal, safe, and
valued in the diversity of their identities and experiences. We work
with LGBTQ+ young people as equals to achieve our vision through youth
work, changing attitudes, and research.
The Development & Training Officer will ensure youth services across
Ireland are safe, inclusive, and welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ young
people. They will support the National Network Coordinator with
targeted and community-based youth services by providing information,
advice, and training in relation to best practice, policy, and
programmes
The Development & Training Officer will also play a key role in Belong
To’s training and education services to relevant professionals who
work with young people including rolling out our Rainbow Awards for
youth groups, organisations, and services.
